IT’S Actually about us…

Research overwhelmingly shows that a good relationship with your therapist is fundamental to your success in therapy. The experience of “feeling felt” is what makes therapy meaningful. That’s why it’s important to have a consultation before we work together.

My Story:
I’ve been working professionally in mental health since 2015 and I have decades of experience asking thoughtful questions, offering emotional support and helping people to learn and grow. I believe that no matter how much you’re suffering humour, imagination and creativity are powerful tools for change.

After decades of volunteering in community centres and social service agencies like The Daily Food Bank, Jessie’s Centre for pregnant teens, The Redwood Woman’s Shelter and WISH drop-in centre for women working in Vancouver’s sex trade, in 2014 I decided to resign from the improv theatre I was managing to pursue a new career in mental health. I graduated from Yorkville’s MACP program in 2019 and opened up a private practice shortly after. I live in Toronto’s West End with my partner of over 20 years, our two teenage kids and our two rescue dogs.
